What is an SBA 7(a) loan?

SBA 7(a) loans are a flexible lending option designed to provide new and established small businesses with access to affordable capital. Most small businesses qualify for SBA financing. The loan amount can be up to $5 million. Terms are up to 25 years for real estate and ten years for other purposes.

What documents do I need to apply for a SBA 7(a) loan?

Start Up Small business:

• 2 years projections
• 2 years personal tax returns
• 2 years business tax returns (if available)
• 3 months business bank statements or bank verification
• Budget for the start-up costs

Existing small business:

• Business debt schedule
• 3 years business tax returns
• Previous years, year-end business financials
• 3 years personal tax returns
• 3 months business bank statements or bank verification
• Government issued I.D. (driver’s license)
• Personal Financial Statement (SBA form 143)
